“We founded Eagle Society because a republic is kept by stewardship: of first principles, the lessons of history, and leadership worthy of a free people. We enjoy the journey, yes, but we do it for something deeper—to pass on a mission worthy of our children, and the enduring prosperity that follows.”

Michael P. Davidson, Founder

Meet the Founder

Michael P. Davidson is dedicated to advancing human flourishing by fostering freedom and purpose in both personal and public life. He leads efforts that equip leaders to steward liberty, cultivate strong families, renew civic life, and drive mission-driven impact.

A serial entrepreneur, institution builder, and thought leader, Michael has led organizations across for-profit, nonprofit, and public-benefit models. His work sits at the intersection of mission and enterprise, where business, philanthropy, and government must align for lasting impact. He has led high-profile delegations of business leaders and philanthropists to more than 35 countries, built and led globally distributed teams, managed significant budgets, and operated in complex, high-stakes environments where judgment and coordination matter. His work has spanned education, economic opportunity, national security, and civic renewal.

Driven by a belief in human flourishing and love of country, Michael sees private philanthropy as one of America’s great strengths when it is strategic, disciplined, and rooted in dignity. He is the creator of Citizen Dad, a mission focused on leadership formation, fatherhood, and civic responsibility. He lives in Franklin, Tennessee with his wife and four children, is an advocate for adoption, plays guitar when no one will hear, and occasionally coaches wrestling and judo, where he competed in his youth and ultimately earned a nidan.
